Parents of Year 7 Students are invited to our Year 7 Settling in Evening
The evening will support you with your child’s academic progress in year 7 at BCHS. It is an opportunity for you to discuss how your child has settled into life at BCHS. As you are fully aware, where there is a strong, purposeful partnership between home and school, the outcomes for the children are far greater.
You will meet with your child’s Progress Tutor and will have the chance to speak to the Head of Year and Pastoral Manager to discuss any concerns or questions you have. You will be informed of key dates and information relating to different subjects, for example, revision, homework, extra-curricular activities, behaviour, reports and the assessment calendar.
We cannot stress enough how important it is that you attend the evening to support your child to achieve their full potential.
