Whole School Curriculum Impact

We will monitor the impact of our curriculum by:

  • The celebration of success across all aspects. (assemblies, certificates, post cards rewards system, exam attainment / progress).
  • Introducing all our students to experiences beyond the classroom design to enhance culture capital, careers and independence.
  • Ensuring that all our KS4 students:
    • Receive appropriate CEIAG
    • Prepare and complete application forms for appropriate courses.
  • Monitoring the destinations of our Y11 leavers
  • Assess tri annually the progress of our students in all year groups and implement appropriate intervention
  • Monitoring the progress of our students and implementing appropriate interventions:
    • Using CATs and GLC assessments to monitor KS3 progress
    • Using formal PPE & GCSEs to assess KS4

What we hope will be the impact of our curriculum:

  • Progress and Attainment
    • Our children will continually build on their attainment demonstrating progress in line with, but preferably exceeding their potential, each based on their starting points.
    • An accumulative of life and academic skills which ensure our children are prepared for a Britain of the future.
  • Character
    • Developed a moral compass which allows our children to make the right decisions for the right reasons for the benefit of their community.
    • An in depth understanding of the diversity of our world and a desire to accept all people from all cultures, creed and backgrounds with an open mind.
  • Positive Learning Behaviours

    • Our children will understand that they are responsible for their own destiny and have learned to evaluate the best path when faced with a crossroad in their life. (Make decisions which promote positive outcomes).
    • Our children will be motivated by a strong desire to continue to become the very best version of themselves. (high expectations of their own future).
