During July our Creative Arts team held an end of year Art Competition. This was open to all students, and any type of artwork could be submitted. There was a wide variety of entries including paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Entries included an underwater seascape and an origami animal park sculpture.
Mr Braithwaite, our Deputy Head, had a hard job choosing the winning entry, due to the high standard of entries.
We are pleased to announce that Khadijah, of 8B, won the 1st prize of a £20 voucher. Her drawing of Thorin Oakenshield, from the movie version of The Hobbit, will also be entered into the YPO national art competition.
