Transition from KS3 to KS4
06/07/2022

A meeting for Parents and Carers of pupils in Y9

Thursday 14th July at 5:30

Your child is coming to a very exciting time in their school career. They are leaving Key Stage Three behind and are preparing to start studying for their GCSEs in Key Stage Four.

At BCHS we have high expectations of all of our students and want them to do their best. We want to work in partnership with parents / carers to provide all the help and support needed. We believe that parents working with school to support their child is vital. Therefore we would like to invite you to a meeting regarding the transition from KS3 to KS4. BCHS are working hard to support your child over the next few months. We want them to be prepared for the challenges ahead.

The meeting will be held at BCHS on Thursday 14th July at 5:30. In the meeting we will discuss the changing expectations, what they need to do and when they need to do it, so that you can help them to get organised. There will be chance for you to ask any questions on the evening.

We want all of our students to do their very best and we want to support our students and their families as much as possible so that they are ready to succeed.

Students will complete activities around this transition during the day on Thursday 14th July.

We very much look forward to seeing you on the 14th July. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs Sinclair, Assistant Headteacher on:
