Thank you to all the students who took part in our π (pi) day competition last week.
March 14 marks Pi Day, an annual celebration of the mathematical sign pi. Founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw, March 14 was selected because the numerical date (3.14) represents the first three digits of pi, which also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday!
The highest scorers from each form were put onto a wheel of names and a winner selected at random from each year group. Well done to all our winners - James, Hajerah, Jack, and Umaina. Congratulations!
