Our LGBTQ+ noticeboard now has "pride" of place in our school library, close to reception. The board was decorated by students from our Pride group - set up to support students who identify as LBBTQ+, or as an ally.
As a school, we are currently working towards our Rainbow Flag Award, in conjunction with the Pride Trust. This award is made up of six components - one of which we have already attained. It is to show, as a school, our support to all of our students, staff and parents and those who identify as LGBTQ+ or as an Ally.
We hope to have reached our goal by September and add our new achievement to our recent School of Sanctuary Award, which we accomplished last year.
