Over the weekend, our Year 11 student, Harrison took part in a couple of Judo sporting events.
On Saturday Harrison competed in the London Judo Open. He fought extremely well, achieving second place and winning another silver medal.
The following Sunday, Harrison took his black belt examination in front of experts from the British Judo Association. Harrison competed against five adult judo practitioners, winning all five bouts; A very difficult task, which he needed to be on top form to complete.
More exhausted after each of these challenging bouts, Harrison push himself onward and earned his black belt 1st dan.
Congratulations Harrison, this is a truly outstanding achievement, especially for someone still in high school.
