Blackburn student Jordan crowned Kickboxing World Champion

Kickboxing World Champion

Jordan, a student at Blackburn Central High School, represented England in Kickboxing at the Unified World Championships.

At the end of October, myself and four other fighters travelled to Carrara, Italy to compete in the Unified World Championships.

During the Championships I competed in three kickboxing fights; two in the mats category, and one in the ring.

By the end of the Championships I had won both Gold and a Silver medals. Also the manager of AFSO (All Fight Systems Organisation) presented me with the Heart of a Fighter award; I am only the second person in the world to receive this award.

What makes Jordan’s accomplishment even more special is that she part funded her place on the kickboxing team by raising sponsor money from the local community.

We are all every proud of this young woman, and the amazing effort she has put in to this amazing sporting achievement.
