Last night our school choir performed at Preston Guild Hall, as part of the Emojinal Health charity concert organised by Child Action North West.
An audience of thousands filled the Preston Guild Hall to see more than 400 students from fifteen schools perform to raise money for young people’s mental health provision.
The Blackburn Central High School choir were amazing and represented our school brilliantly. The choir performed two songs during the night: “Which Way To Go”, an original song by Britain’s Got Talent star, Ella Shaw, who performed with our choir on stage.
The BCHS students also performed Ella Henderson’s “Yours”, with Year 10 student Amber accompanying the choir on piano.
Additionally, Mike Graveston, from 2BR’s Tatum and Mike in the Morning, hosted the event. Holly Ellison and Hayley Eccles from The Voice UK, joined other school choirs on stage.
All funds raised by the Emojinal Health concert will help Child Action Northwest (CANW) provide a dedicated counselling service for children aged 5-16 to get the emotional support they need.
If you could not make the performance, our staff have managed to capture them on video below.
