Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have been hard at work improving the support they offer to students at Blackburn Central High School.
You can contact us by email, just search for BCHS – Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. All emails are confidential, and we will respond within 24 hours. You can also find us on Instagram under antibullyingambassadors.
We are based in Pathways, where you can talk to one of our ambassadors. If you would like to talk about a problem please refer yourself. If you are unsafe we must contact your Pastoral Manager or Safeguarding.
Outside of that anything you tells us stays with us! Your matter is our matter, we will try our best to help resolve your problems.
We all have a part to play in ending bullying and you can help:
Stand up for Others
Offer someone support when they are going through a tough time.
Raise awareness of how to tackle bullying with your peers. The best way to instigate social change is to be brave enough to tackle issues in a productive and transparent manner.
Be a Role Model for others
Demonstrate how we should all be treated by treating other people with kindness and encouraging others to do the same.
Report bullying behaviour even if it isn’t aimed with you. Tell a teacher or, if it has happened online, report through the social network; Information on how to do this can be found on social media networks safety centres.
Make sure you talk to someone you trust; Identify your support network, the people in your life or support services that will give you the support you need, whether that is inside or outside of school.
Princess Diana wanted the world to be a better place, and myself, Arslan, Pippa, Nicole, Lela, Morgan, and Nazneen want to make BCHS a better place. We would love for more students to join the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. Details can be found on our notice boards, located around the corner from the Maths department, and also check out our blog.
